While they are still self-sufficient and active, they don’t mind a little assistance with more taxing maintenance tasks and they are seeking amenities to make life more relaxing and less strenuous. Eligibility for admission and occupancy at Schneider Manor is extended regardless of race, national origin, color, religion, sex or disability. With a commitment to provide affordable housing for all, rent is based on each applicant’s earned income during previous employment. As an exclusively Independent Living facility, applicants must provide a self-care certificate, signed by their doctor, stating that they are capable of living on their own, prior to occupancy.
*Although residents must be at least 62 years old, applications may be submitted at any age. Our occupancy is at 100% with a waiting list of 10 to 12 years.
**Due to the guidelines set forth by the Schneider Manor trust, applications may only be considered from current or former residents of the community. This includes residence within the Lowell School District or the 49331 Postal Zip Code.
